A day to remember!!!

Today was pretty amazing, I got the must wonderful news. I'm so proud of my brother and his wife. Their amazing and I'm so happy for them, I can't wait!!!!

Goodbye Decade

Only hours left until we say goodbye to 2009 and close out a decade of memories. Some good and some memories one wishes could be erased from time as we know it to be in our complicated world.

Looking back at the last ten years, I have laughed made new friends, meet my share of enemies and learned that in life not every person you meet is as honest as you think.

Ten years ago today we were all talking about the Y2K, how funny. At 19 I worried about whether I would be able to stay in college and finish. Whether I would be the product of another divorced family and suffer from separation. It's funny at how different people deal with their issues in their life. I was pin as the strong one who learns to conquer and be independent in my own way. I was thought to never depend on others, but to learn to do for myself.

Funny how never once thinking that maybe that young girl was suffering inside but was to busy working and trying to help others in her life get over their problems.

Now people sit back and call me names like Serg (sergeant)and never fail to mention that I am easily bother by nonsense. Maybe at one point they would realize that i have spent my life being different which has not been easy.

Today I sit behind my computer counting down the time till the beginning of a new start.

Life works in it's mysterious ways, from partying weekdays and weekends, to being married and trying to balance a home and growing career.

I am thankful for the wonderful people I have meet along the way and wish them the very best in the new year.

Definitely looking forward to a much better year, focused on the good.

Last day

Today is my last day before I have to return to work. Its been really nice having the time off without having to think about work. Although I must say I have received several calls from work but most of them have been minor.

Things are looking pretty good, we finally got our T.V and the painter is back for a few more walls.

Then off to the bank after lunch and than to Ikea to look for a dresser to put in our closet. As of now I still have cloths in boxes with nowhere to put them and its driving me crazy.

Super excited my mother arrives tomorrow and i cant wait for her to see my new place. I think she's really going to like it.

Busy Tuesday

What a crazy morning, it started at 8am and finally I can say I have a moment of silence. First thing this morning the drywall guy rang the doorbell, then the cable guy, then the ADT guy and now just waiting on the painter to arrive for touch ups.

The garage still looks like a bomb went off but the Christmas tree is finally up and looking pretty small and lonely.

I have a few more hours left before Dre comes home, so hopefully I will be able to have all of Alyssia's stuff out of the garage and into her room.

The girls on the other hand are really enjoying the backyard, Wednesday didn't waste anytime taking her first poop.

Thank God for Internet, I can finally go back to blogging!!!! :)

Our 1st night in our new home

Our 1st Visitors

It's official, Jay and Sarah are the first visitors since we got the keys to our home yesterday. They were even nice enough to help us bring over some of our things. They even got us our first house warming gift, lemon hand scrub that smells great and makes your hands super soft.

I love my brother and sister in law, they're the best!!!!

Finally

Super excited, yesterday I picked up our keys from the sales office and was told that we are the first ones to move into the community. Pretty cool, out of 11 homes and new families we are the first.
Dre came home around 7:30pm and was so excited to see the house that he ate his dinner in a heart beat and was ready to go. We got to the house around 8:30 and had chocolate covered strawberries as we admired our home together for the first time.
What a blessing, it is an amazing feeling to know all of our hard work truly paid off. Not to forget that this is only the beginning of many things to come.
I am truly blessed and proud that I get to experince this with such a wonderful man and husband.
We can't wait to start shopping for our furniture next week, it's going to be great!!!
